Who it's for

Built for shops that make to order.

If you quote it, build it and install it, FactoryMate runs the job. Pick your trade to see how it works in your shop.

Run a different made-to-order shop? Tell us about it — we’ll be honest about the fit.

How it works

Six stages. One source of truth.

Every job moves through the same lifecycle. Office, floor, and driver each see exactly the work they own — nothing more, nothing less.

01 Pending

Job created

Office logs a job: customer, site address, colours, target date. PDFs and shop drawings uploaded straight to per-tenant storage.

02 Checks signed

Preflight cleared

Aluminium in. Glass in. Colours locked. Required checks must be ticked — production can't start otherwise.

03 In production

In production

Floor supervisor unlocks the job with their PIN. Status moves through Cutting → Welding → Glazing → QA, every step logged.

04 Ready for dispatch

Floor sign-off

Supervisor signs off completed units. Job hands over to the office and locks. Floor must request an unlock to change anything — every request audited.

05 Dispatched

Dispatched

Office assigns driver and date. The status flips automatically — assignment and lifecycle stay reconciled, both ways.

06 Delivered

Delivered

Driver completes delivery on a PIN-bound device — the on-site GPS location plus photos. The office approves it, then the job marks complete. Closed.

Built for the way you actually work

Three views. One job.

The office never sees the floor's mess. The floor never carries the office's spreadsheets. Each device shows exactly the work that belongs to it.

For the office

Run your whole shop from one screen.

Filter by stage, customer, production state, or target date. Drag jobs into a dispatch day. Approve floor unlock requests. The office desk view shows you everything you need to keep the day moving.

  • Filterable jobs index — every job's stage, production state, customer, and target date in one filterable view
  • Dispatch planner — drag jobs into a day, assign driver, lifecycle flips automatically
  • Full audit log — every change with user, timestamp, IP. Exportable for compliance

For the floor

A tablet on the wall, not a clipboard in someone's pocket.

The supervisor signs in with a PIN tied to that specific device. No shared passwords. No "who moved this back to production?". The floor sees only the jobs they can act on — never anything the office is handling.

  • PIN + device-bound login — no shared passwords on the shop tablet
  • End-of-day sign-off in 30 seconds — supervisor bundles the day's work into one audited record
  • Annotate shop drawings in-browser — mark up PDFs without leaving the job
For the driver

A phone, a manifest, proof of delivery. That's it.

Jake gets his stops for today in office-planned order. He taps a job, sees the address, opens Maps, drives. On site he snaps a photo, his location is captured automatically, and he submits — the office approves it before the job closes. Done.

  • Mobile-first — designed for a driver's phone, not retrofitted from a desktop view
  • One-tap Maps integration — straight from the job to navigation
  • Installs on the phone — add it to the home screen, with a clear banner the moment signal drops

Why it's real

Built for a workshop, not a wishlist.

Nearly everything here works today — it’s in the codebase, not on a wishlist. The few things still coming are labelled “coming soon”, never dressed up as done.

Multi-tenant by design

Each fabricator gets their own subdomain, their own database, and their own object-storage bucket. No shared rows, no cross-tenant leakage.

Every action audited

Status transitions, unlock requests, dispatch assignments, manual overrides — persisted with user, timestamp, and reason. Exportable.

PIN + device binding

Floor and drivers log in with a PIN tied to their device — no shared passwords on the factory tablet. Office adds TOTP on top.

Deliberate unlock workflow

Once the office is handling a job, floor edits are locked. Request unlock, office approves or rejects with a reason. No silent edits.

PDF annotations in-browser

Mark up shop drawings without leaving the job. Annotations save against the job, visible to office and floor.

Built in Australia

Made by a local team for local fabricators. Run and supported from Australia. AGWA-style preflight checks. Support during your hours, not Silicon Valley’s.

Customers kept in the loop

Branded emails go out as a job moves — into production, out for delivery, delivered. Each shows the site address and dates only, never your internal notes. Delivery photos arrive as a private link that needs no login and expires after 30 days.

One conversation per job

Office, floor and drivers share one comment thread on every job, scoped so each sees only what matters. @mention a colleague and it lands in their notifications bell. Add FactoryMate to the home screen and the right people get pushed what needs them.

Built around your shop

FactoryMate is built around your process — your production stages, your key dates, your delivery regions by postcode, and your own customer and material categories and colours. We set it all up to match how your shop runs, as part of onboarding.

Inventory & stock control

A materials catalogue, QR rack locations, scan to hand out and receive, count-then-approve stock-takes and a daily low-stock email — all where your jobs already live.

Learn more

Service & measure scheduling

Book measures and service visits on their own region board — a requests inbox, a time of day, group by postcode, then publish the run to the driver and the customer.

Proof of delivery

Every delivery comes back with the on-site GPS location and photos, and the office approves or rejects it before the job closes. The whole story sits on the job.

On Professional

Smarter delivery, built in.

Two upgrades for shops running deliveries — both live on Professional, so the dispatch board does the planning for you.

Professional

Auto route optimisation

Put each driver’s run in the most efficient order automatically — fewer kilometres on the road and earlier finishes, without anyone planning the route by hand.

Professional

Auto job-grouping assistant

New jobs drop into the right region on their own, so the dispatch board sorts itself instead of someone dragging every job into place.

FAQ

A few things worth answering.

How do I get started?
Book a demo and we'll walk FactoryMate through your real workflow. If it's a fit, we set up your own isolated tenant for you to try with your own jobs — no credit card to look. You keep everything you set up if you continue.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is tailored to your shop. Tell us your team size and how you work, and we’ll put together a straight number for your setup — get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
What happens if I outgrow my tier mid-month?
Soft caps. You don't get cut off — you keep working and we email you to sort out the next tier. No surprise overage charges. When you move up we work out the change with you; downgrades apply at your next renewal.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes, on every tier. CSV / Excel export of every list view, anytime. When you cancel, we provide a full export of your data and files — just ask, no fee. Your job photos and PDFs come out as the files they went in as. We don't hold data hostage.
Is the subscription tax-deductible in Australia?
Software for your business is generally a deductible expense. Prices on this page are ex-GST and you get a tax invoice for your records. Talk to your accountant for your specific situation; we're not them.
Will prices go up on me later?
Early customers get launch pricing, and we hold that rate for your subscription while you stay with us. If prices ever change for new customers, we'll give you plenty of notice first — no surprise mid-contract hikes. The full terms are in your subscription agreement.
Does FactoryMate tell my customers when their job is ready?
Yes — customers get a tidy, branded email as the job moves into production, out for delivery and delivered, showing only the site address and the dates. When a delivery is done they also get a private link to the photos that needs no login and expires after 30 days. Customer updates go by email today, not SMS.
How do I know a delivery actually happened?
On every completed delivery the driver's on-site location is captured and photos are attached, then the office approves or rejects it before the job is marked complete. If something is wrong the office rejects it with a reason and the driver redoes it — nothing closes on its own.
Can my team talk to each other on a job?
Yes — every job has one comment thread for the office, the floor and drivers, scoped so field staff only see the notes that matter to them. Office staff can @mention a colleague, who sees it in their notifications bell, and FactoryMate can push alerts to the people who need them once it is added to the home screen.
Will FactoryMate match how my shop works?
Yes — FactoryMate is built around your process. Our team sets up your production stages, key dates, delivery regions, categories and branding to match how your shop works as part of onboarding, and updates them whenever it changes.
